This document was drafted by one of my girls. It says,
“I (name of driver) promise to take specified personnel to the NIBCO ice skating rink with the following information included. You may pick a day and hour, but we, Maddy, Emily, and Hannh suggest Thursday because of the special “Free Hot Chocolate” Event all day Thursday.”
The “following information” was a separate sheet of paper with all the details about the skating rink–days, times, costs, etc.
Cracked.Me.Up!
And yes, Dad did take them ice skating and they had a blast! However, they got the date wrong for the free hot chcolate event–it’s NEXT Thursday, which means we might just need to take them again. : )
This post has been submitted for inclusion in The Christian Home Magazine Issue 40. As the featured columnist for the Gentle Humor column, I will be sharing something weekly that will, hopefully, bring a smile to your day!

And this blog will be an awesome memory for your family in years to come…I can just imagine your family stumbling over this post in a few years….JOY.
I LOVE this. None of my boys have been inspired to write a contract for me, but this mama is seriously considering contracts for them!
That is so sweet! How adorable 🙂 Those kinds of things are just irresistible!
Visiting you from The Christian Home magazine,
