…must come to an end.
Like co-op for this year. Today was our last day. It’s been a fun year! The older 2 girls had Art 1 and 2, Cakes and Candies, and Dissection. My youngest had Manners, Art and Geography, Math Chef, and American Girl.
Since today was the final day, I brought the camera!
Art (Making bird feeders)
This is what they had to dissect today–eek!
Notice where one of mine is sitting–clear across the room
She gained some courage a little later, at least to sit closer
The American Girl class–they studied Addy
So that was today.
Thursday was a pretty laid-back day. We didn’t have much Geography to do, so we concentrated on Literature and Math.
Emily finished her Dolphin unit on Wednesday. It was designed to be a one-week study, but we only worked on it a couple of times a week, so it took a lot longer. She learned a lot though, and enjoyed putting the lapbook together.
Our Tuesdays are usually our busiest days. We’re at home for school in the morning and then we have dance and voice lessons and tae kwon do in the afternoon. My oldest does the lessons and my youngest is working towards her 2nd degree Black Belt. We stop at our favorite local coffee shop after lessons for chocolate chip cookies and (sometimes) coffee for me. Decaf, please!
Monday we focused on getting to know the African continent, as well as some writing, and reading through the biography of David Livingstone.
I won’t be doing a Weekly Wrap-up next week because I will be at the Titus 2:1 Conference! I am super excited about being able to attend this combination homeschool/blogging conference. I will get to actually hug some of the amazing ladies I’ve gotten to know through twitter and blogging this past year. I’ll talk more about this next week.
Happy weekend to you!
