When I get ready to download pictures from my camera, I’m never quite sure what has made it on the camera roll. My camera obviously gets used when I have no clue about it!
This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Both my girls had taken pictures, and both captured scenes that were beautiful to them. Here is a sampling:
As I looked at these, it made me realize how God has placed within each of us an innate appreciation of beauty. And not just seeing it, but creating it as well.

How grateful I am that we have been given this love of beauty and that there are creative outlets to capture it, express it, and enjoy it.
What do you find beautiful?
Your girls definitely have an eye for the beautiful. Their cakes are fabulous! Are they going into business? They’d make a mint over the holidays! 🙂
What do I find beautiful? Watching my children when they don’t realize it. I love the soft expressions on their faces…I’m so blessed. 🙂
That’s a wonderful thing to find beautiful!
Hmm…never thought about the cake business…
Oh what pretty pictures! And the cakes are beautiful! I have really been enjoying the fall colors this year. They remind me that as much as I dislike change, sometimes it really is beautiful.
Stopping by to say Hi!
I pray all is well with you and your family!
Love the sky pictures. I agree, beauty is all around us if we just take the time to see it.
Those cakes!!! WOW! They should open a bakery.
Beautiful pictures (and cakes!). I agree with Karen. They should open a bakery!
Wow!!! Your girls are talented! Those cakes make me jealous! They have some skills in the kitchen!
