Yesterday was a big day for my Army Chaplain husband. He was promoted from Captain to Major! I’m so proud of him.
His commander had some great things to say about him in front of all the others gathered, and I wish I had had the camera on video instead of only taking pictures. Still, I’m glad the girls and I had a chance to go and see his new rank “pinned” on.
Now, instead of calling him “O Captain, my Captain,” I’ll have to switch to “My Major Love”….or something like that. These are serious things to consider, you know!
That is wonderful, ‘major’ congratulations to the hubby!!! 😉
Thanks Kay, I’ll pass that on to him!
Congratulations to all of you!
Thanks Rebecca!

That is AWESOME!! Congrats to him and you. I am sure ‘he couldn’t have done it without you” 😉
I would like to think that. ; ) Thank you.
Lisa ~ this is such an accomplishment. You must be very proud of your husband.
My brother, a naval chaplain, is retiring June 1 after 20 years of service… it’s kind of bittersweet, but after two very long tours in a shock and trauma in Iraq and 5 children and countless moves, I think he’s ready. 🙂
I think it’s great that your girls get to see their dad accomplish something so wonderful.
Blessings!
Thank you Mary!
Please tell your brother thank you from us for his years of service.
That is awesome!! What a great accomplishment!
Thanks Theresa!
