I’ve been kind of “playing around” at this blogging thing for quite a few months now–doing bare minimum just to maintain.
That’s going to change. Starting this month.
Each month, The Army Chap’s Wife will have a theme, which I will talk about at the beginning of the month. As many posts as possible will be centered around that theme. I’m hoping to not so much improve quantity of posts as step up the quality.
Why am I telling you this? It’s an accountability thing!
October’s theme is Uncertainty and Unsettledness. (And yes, I looked up that second word, and it is indeed a word.) I chose this particular theme mainly because that’s where we are as a family right now.
My sister–who is writing her dissertation on this very subject–will be guest posting this month. I will be sharing some of my family’s journey at Jennifer Janes‘ home on the web later in the month. I will still be doing Monday Meditations, Thankful Thursdays, and Weekly Wrap-Ups, but I’m hoping to add in more reflective, deeper posts as well that center on the month’s theme.
I realize that the theme of Uncertainty and Unsettledness seems a bit of a “downer” subject on which to focus. I’m praying that as we all struggle through life’s uncertainties we will be challenged and encouraged together! Maybe something that I (or you!) have learned through the process will benefit and bless someone else.
If you have any thoughts, questions, or suggestions, please share!
