Contentment
This, truthfully, is a difficult one for me. I tend to get caught up in the desire for more, new, or different instead of being content with what God has already given.
Oh, to be able to say that I have such joy in one ordinary day.

I struggle with contentment too. Not all the time… mostly I am content, but when I struggle- it is a hard struggle. a true fight for me.

So grateful to have God’s more than enough! And six years on the mission field is teaching me the joy of being content. Great post!
Finding contentment is something I desire, but struggle to rest in. I think about what Paul says in Philippians 4:11-13 “For I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed for hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” That “secret of being content” that Paul talks about is one I ask God to whisper to me all the time. Help me, God, to just rest in You.
