There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to rebuild.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to lose.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak up.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace. (Ecc. 3:1-8)
Although God himself is not bound by time, He has given it to us as a gift to be used wisely and for His glory.
What is it time for in your life this week?
This is one of my favorite verses! No matter what season of life I’m in, I can turn to this verse and realize that it’s just a season…and it will change.
Exactly! It really is a comforting thought.
I love this scripture. What a great thought to start the week with. Thanks.
I hope your week is a good one!
Time for my sister to visit:) I don’t get to see her very often, so I am extremely blessed today! Around the corner a move, son graduating. Seems like the time for things is coming all this week! A wonderful reflection for today. Thank you.
Enjoy the time with your sister!
I love this. I have always loved this!! Each season of my life that I read this in, it takes on different meaning 🙂
That’s one of the amazing things about Scripture!
I hope your week is a good one.
This has been one of my favorite verses for as long as I can remember. It gives me some strength this week as my husband is getting ready to go away for 3 weeks for training with the Army. Please keep him (and the rest of us!) in your prayers. You and your family remain in mine! 🙂
You and your family will be in my prayers! Where is he doing his training?
