The girls went rock climbing again yesterday. I think they’re hooked for life!
As I was watching them, I realized that there is quite a bit of trust involved in climbing.
Trust that the instructors taught all that was needed before climbing. Trust that the harness will hold. Trust that the rope will stay strong and knotted. Trust that the person belaying will do their job and not let them freefall.
Trust comes easy for some, harder for others. It can be easily broken, depending on whom (or what) it is placed.
I am so grateful for a God who is completely trustworthy!
“And since we have a great High Priest, who rules over God’s people, let us go right into the presence of God, with true hearts, fully trusting him…Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”
Hebrews 10:21-23 (NLT)
Cling tightly this week. I know I need to.
I love this – and I’m holding tight to that trust!
Clinging tightly with you.
Fondly,
Glenda
What a great shot Lisa! Boy, was she ever high up! Yes, I would imagine a fair bit of trust was involved. Great analogy. 🙂
Blessings to you!
