Monday Meditation

Monday Meditation

I have quite a few friends and acquaintances who are beginning their 31 Days series today. The challenge is found at Nesting Place, and it is for anyone who wants to write every day, on a single topic, through the month of October. It’s a hefty challenge. I briefly thought about doing it this year, but chickened out. Maybe next year.

There are going to be some great series going on. However, from what I’ve heard from friends who have done it before–it gets tough! So, I thought I’d gear this Monday Meditation towards those who are writing their hearts out this month. And, if you’re not doing a 31 Days series, may it encourage you as well.

“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again–Rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

And now, dear friends, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Phil. 4:4-8

Happy October!
