“Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and sacrificed on it the animals and birds that had been approved for that purpose. And the LORD was pleased with the sacrifice and said to himself, ‘I will never again curse the earth, destroying all living things, even though people’s thoughts and actions are bent towards evil from childhood. As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night.'”
Gen. 8:20-22 (NLT, emphasis mine)
I love fall. Something about the changing colors, temperatures…just the feel in the air. And even though fall speaks of the shift from summer to winter, within that changing is embodied the constancy of the Creator. The fact that we get to experience autumn every year is testimony to our ever-loving, ever-gracious, never-changing heavenly Father.
May God bless your week.

Such a great verse for this time of year. I must admit that fall is not my favorite season, as I am all too aware of the winter storms to come!!
