Our pastor is still preaching through Revelation, which has been a fascinating study.
Yesterday he made mention of passages in Isaiah that corresponded to his teaching from Revelation. Isaiah 12 was one of them. As I read through it, I found myself smiling at the overall tone of JOY!
In that day you will sing:
“Praise the LORD!
He was angry with me, but now he comforts me.
See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid.
The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation!
In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the LORD! Praise his name!
Tell the world what he has done. Oh, how mighty he is!
Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world.
Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy!
For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”
Isaiah 12 (NLT)
May your week be filled with JOY as He is your strength and your song.
AMEN!!
How is your arm?!
I can better answer now that I’ve had another OT appointment π Its motion is coming slowly but I can now almost touch my thumb to my ring finger. That is a major accomplishment! My thumb is still weak as a newborn baby and my arm looks like a chicken wing but I’m staying optimistic… but I will get mobility back it’s just going to take a long time ;-(
Beautiful – thank you for sharing! I’ll be sure to vote for you on the Encourager nomination at The Post π I was thrilled to find myself on best photo & nature/ field trip blogs – exciting – it’s an honor
