“Not to us, O LORD, but to you goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Why do the nations say, ‘Where is their God?’
For our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.”
Psalm 115:1-3 (NLT)
This verse caught my attention mostly because of that last phrase. It was a great reminder to me that God is above all–all my plans, my hopes, my failures, my fears, my desire to control outcomes.
And that is comforting.
May your week be blessed with his glory, grace, and hope.
Lovely verse! Happy Monday 🙂
I second that! Thanks for a great verse Lisa!

hmmm…interesting. There were some things that I wanted recently that just did not work out. Maybe that is God’s plan.

It truly is of great comfort to know that our Great God is Sovereign over every detail of life! HE works all things for our good and for HIS glory. What a blessing to rest in that! Happy Easter to you and yours, Lisa. HE is risen…indeed! Many Blessings, Camille
