Hello Again Blogging World!

It feels like it has been a really long time since I’ve spent much time online. In actuality it’s only been a week. I was so sick all week, and I’m still recovering, but I at least feel more than half alive. I got really well acquainted with the pattern on my comforter, and my fleece blanket became a good friend. My husband and kids were such troopers. They all helped out so I could get the rest I needed.

I was doing some catch-up reading today in my Bible since I didn’t even do much reading last week. I came across these passages in Psalm 62:

“God, the one and only–I’ll wait as long as he says.
Everything I need comes from him, so why not?
He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul,
An impregnable castle: I’m set for life.

“God, the one and only–I’ll wait as long as he says.
Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not?
He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul,
An impregnable castle: I’m set for life.

My help and glory are in God–
granite-strength and safe-habor God–
So trust him absolutely, people;
lay your lives on the line for him.
God is a safe place to be.
(The Message)
Words that ministered deeply to my soul. I hope they encourage you today. May God bless your week!
