Good morning!
Normally, I would share a Scripture with you that had particular meaning for me for Monday Meditation, but today I have something a little different. As you might remember, I’ve been reading through the Bible this year from The Message. One of the things I’ve appreciated is the introductions to each of the books.
I am starting the book of Joshua this week, and I thought I’d share something from the introduction:
“God’s great love and purposes for us are worked out in the messes, storms, sins, blues skies, daily work, and dreams of our common lives, working with us as we are and not as we should be.”
I don’t know about you, but most of the time my life is pretty unglamorous (I’m not sure that’s a word, but, oh well) and common. And yet, that is where God chooses to meet me and work. That’s very encouraging to me.
Have a great week!
