Thursday again?! I guess a busy weekend makes time seem to fly.
We’ve been trying to get back into a semblance of normal routine this week, but for some reason it has not been easy. Ah well, such are the seasons in a homeschool family.
Right now, it’s time to turn my attention to those things for which I am especially thankful this week!
- Our Easter weekend with friends
- Hearing the authentic and humble heart and voice of Bebo Norman in church on Sunday–what an amazing time of worship
- Crisp, sunny days
- A meet-up with friends for an interesting (and slightly crazy) shopping experience at the Vera Bradley outlet sale–I think I need to do a whole post about this one!
- A light at the end of the Algebra tunnel
- Reminders to “pray about everything”
- Challenging questions
- Time to read
- Dark chocolate M&M’s–even though I’ve eaten so many this week my tongue hurts! I gave up all chocolate for Lent, so in my freedom I’ve overindulged.
(I’m sorry there’s no pictures to go along with this! I was short on time.)
I hope you can find things, large and small, to be thankful for today.
I love Bebo Norman. I bet that was some awesome worship! Love your thankful heart.
It was a very special Easter worship time with him! Thanks for stopping by today.
Lovely things for which to be thankful, Lisa. Sounds as if your Easter was really nice. I’m thankful my kitchen cabinets are finally painted. 🙂 Happy Thursday, friend! Been missing you in the mornings.
I’ve missed you too. Seems like we’ve been on at different times, doesn’t it.
I’m so excited to see pictures of your “new” cabinets!
The Vera Bradley Outlet sale?! Oh man….I would have LOVED that!!
It really was fun–and entertaining for a people watcher like me! Those women can be crazy!!
LOL! The *Algebra tunnel*?? Too funny. Yippee for seeing the end of it!
Yippee for dark chocolate (or any chocolate for that matter)!
Have a wonderful weekend Lisa! (Yes, indeed…where does the time go??)
Blessings,
Camille
At times, that tunnel has been quite dark! : )
I hope your weekend is a good one as well.
I understand the light and the end of the math tunnel! Here it is pre-Algebra, but I definitely hear you! 🙂 I lented on sweets, too, and I have been indulging a bit too much these last few days, as well. But it is all definitely yummy! I didn’t put pictures in my post today, either. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have time. I am so glad that you had a beautiful and meaningful Easter and hope that you and your family have a great weekend! Many blessings, friend! :-)))
Thank you! I hope your weekend is a great one as well!
You had me at Bebo Norman and then an outlet sale to boot? My goodness, girl. Wish I was your neighbor 🙂
Makes me smile…I’m not worried about teaching Algebra at all. but I start to sweat when thinking about grammar and composition! ha!
And I’m loving the new look over here!
I wish we were neighbors!
Thanks for the compliment on the site. I was starting to wonder if anyone had noticed! : )
dark chocolate m7m’s are awesome!! glad to know there will be a light at the end of the algebra tunnel–not that we are quite there yet…but when we get there…I am glad to hear and will try to remember there will be a light at the end of the tunnel (can you tell how I am looking forward to algebra? NOT!)
Thank you so much for linking up!!
