Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday

7 Apr

It’s been quite the week, but I bought some of this for myself today, and now I’m all better!

Just kidding. But, it does definitely help the mood a little anyway.

I started doing these Thankful Thursday posts quite a while ago, and I sometimes wonder if they are getting old to those of you who happen to read here on a regular basis. Or maybe I’m struggling to be creative and find things to be thankful for that I haven’t mentioned already. Hmmm…

Well, I’m going to forge ahead anyway! Today I am thankful for:

*The Scripture verses that I memorized in the past that I can now recall when I need them

*The enthusiasm of my kids about things they enjoy

*The fact that my husband returns tonight (even if he’ll only be home for a day and then gone again–I’m trying to focus on being thankful that I get to see him at all)

*Encouraging friends, both online and living nearby

*Exciting news I got–even though I can’t share it with you just yet, sorry

*Meeting a local doula and just “clicking” with one another and forming a backup partnership (been wanting to do this for a while)

*Being able to stay consistent with my morning Bible reading (if you’ve never checked out Inspired to Action, I would heartily recommend it)

*The moment last night where my girls and I were snuggled together on my bed, finishing the exciting conclusion of the book we’d been reading, and then talking about it

*New blogging friends I’ve met this week

*My Heavenly Father’s comfort, strength, and peace

I hope you can find things, small and large, to be thankful for today.
