For Love of Words

Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday

20 Dec

Whew! What a couple of weeks it has been! I think I might just now be ready to start thinking about Christmas–that’s right, START. And Christmas is 5 days away!

There have been bright and fun moments these past weeks, though, and for those I’m very thankful. We’ve had:

beautiful sunrises

togetherness--watching Dr. Who

(Sorry about the fuzziness of that last one–not sure what happened–but I love the look on her face!) Yes, my youngest turned 13! I am now the momma of 2 teenage girls. That’s hard for me to fathom. Weren’t they babies just yesterday?!

Other things I am grateful for this week:

  • a good run for our local theatre’s Christmas show
  • the promise of snow starting tonight
  • safe travel while on the road yesterday
  • my parents are now here for Christmas!

I hope you can find things, large and small, to be thankful for today. And if you’ve written a thankful post, please share it with us!

I love your photos! And, I hear you about the last couple of weeks. I didn’t even get to write a post last week. πŸ™ But, I wrote about my birthday boy this week, who shares the day with your daughter. πŸ™‚ So glad your parents are there to share Christmas. Hope the next few days aren’t too stressful for you. Much love and prayers coming your way!

I think the next few days are going to be a lot nicer–except I do have some shopping to finish! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family.

I’ve been pretty much off-line for a week now, so I didn’t even get a post put up for today. I’m sorry! I’ll be back next week, I promise!
