Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday

Even though I’m not hosting the link-up at the moment, I want to continue being intentional about thanking God for the blessings in my life, large and small.

(If you’re reading by email today, you might want to click through, because I want to make sure you “see” the first thing on my list!) I’m very grateful for the creative genius of Mary Hess, who did the redesign here. I’ve worked with her several times before, and I am always pleased with what she does. What do you think of the new look?!

I am also grateful for:

*Gorgeous displays of God’s creativity

Hannah's shot of the sky

*Time spent one-on-one with my girls

*Duck Dynasty–I know, it sounds like a silly thing to be thankful for, but the show just makes me laugh, hard, and it’s something we can sit down and enjoy as a family

*Time to myself, at Starbucks, with a pumpkin spice latte in hand, getting some planning accomplished

*A great first day at PWOC–I’m leading a study!

*A return to routine

*Family dinners at home (we had been eating out or just winging it way too often)

*Writing and editing opportunities

*My husband’s Achilles Tendon is slowly healing! He’s still got a long road ahead of him, but at least he’s on the right road.

*Football season starts tonight!!

I hope you can find things, large and small, to be thankful for today. Come see what others are grateful for at Kay’s Little Korner!

Duck Dynasty is a great family friendly show with actual values I can get behind. Yay indeed for it!! I am so glad you are finding your routine and woohoo for your presence in PWOC!! I am very thankful for that!

I love the blog look (course I love blue, so it’s a huge hit for me), but is there any way to put your comments link at the bottom? For now, after reading your post, I have to scroll all the way to the top to comment? Just curious. It looks very lovely!!!

Hmmm…I’ll look into the comment thing.

It’s fun being a part of PWOC since I’ve never been able to before!

Very nice blog! I really like the design. And I haven’t been remembering to blog on Thursdays. Hope that now that we are starting school again, I can be more intentional about some of these things.

Good Words

Lisa is a great editor. She is thorough, and offers suggestions to help ensure my articles and ebooks are clear and concise. She’s a great communicator and has a way of offering suggestions and feedback in a positive manner. Having an editor you feel is as invested in your work as you are is priceless. That’s what you get with Lisa.
