Thankful Thursday–The Rock Climbing Edition

Thankful Thursday

6 Sep

Last Friday the girls took an all-day Physical Education field trip.

I didn’t go. My “extra” student’s parents took all three girls to Kalamazoo, MI to an amazing indoor rock climbing paradise. Since I didn’t go along, I sent my camera with them, and they got some great shots.

Let me tell you, these girls LOVE rock climbing! I am so thankful that they got to go and that they had so much fun.

They were given a lesson before they began climbing. The older 2 learned how to belay as well.

These were not dinky walls!

Just plain fun!

They came home utterly exhausted and asking when they could go again. They are very anxious to have their dad go with them next time!

Who knows, I might even try it.

I hope you can find things, large and small, to be thankful for today.

Looks fun. When I. Et my husband he was an avid first climber, leading people in the Gunks. I tried to be brave and face my fear of heights and go with him…didn’t work well. Lol.

It made my youngest a little nervous at first, but she got over it. It must come easier for those who are younger! πŸ˜‰

I went once (outside–on a real mountain!) but that was ages ago! Back when I was young and brave. πŸ™‚

That looks like such fun Lisa! Keilee loves rock climbing too but there aren’t really any places around here. You can tell they all loved it!

They had to drive about an hour or so away from here, but it was so worth it!
