Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday

20 Jan

This might seem like a strange way to start off my list, but I really am thankful for this glass.  Actually, what I’m thankful for is that Sam’s Club had a set of 12 of these for a very reasonable price.  We were down to just a few glasses in the cupboard due to breaking them through the years, and we really needed some.  I was very excited to find these!
I am thankful for several other things and people this week as well:
*The study in James that I just started courtesy of a blogging friend
*That I was accepted into the midwife’s assistant course (it’s in TN at the end of February for a week–when it gets closer, I’m probably going to ask for prayer for my family! pleased)
*Fun times with neighbor kids
*The fact that my oldest is studying volcanoes in school–a subject she actually really enjoys!
*A not-so-busy week, with plenty of good family time
*A possible ministry opportunity for my husband! (Please pray for wisdom and direction)
*Pretty tea things
*Almonds
*Online photographer friends who share their pictures
*My husband’s quirky sense of humor
*The chance I got yesterday to simply sit and read for quite a while
*My walking DVD (and the fact that I’m actually getting up to USE it!)
*The opportunity that blogging gives me to think and write

I hope you can find time today to stop and think about things and people you are thankful for.

I enjoyed reading your thankful list!
And, I enjoyed seeing a peak into your day with the children. It looks like there was several games to be played.

Thank you for sharing your list! And great deal on the glassware! I've decided I will buy another set of lovely glassware AFTER the kids are gone, lol! As I have 7 years before the youngest is 18 I imagine I'll have relented by then, lol!
