We actually have a name for our school this year! We decided on Fawn Meadow Academy, and we even put in an order for hoodies with that name on them. And I really wanted to have them by the time this week rolled around for pictures. Alas, that did not happen. I was sad.
However, here are my beautiful students:
Hannah–Freshman Year
She is our dramatic theater girl who can always be found with a song on her lips and a dance in her step.
She enjoys baking, and is hoping to get a job this year in a friend’s bakery.
She also takes great delight in experimenting with hairstyles and make-up.
This girl, however, would rather not mess with stuff like that!
Emily–6th Grade Year
She is our sensitive feeler, who even though is a black belt in tae kwon do, would rather be reading, writing stories, or drawing.
She prefers to be a homebody, and she’s the most content when with her family.
I have a third student, but since she joins us from another family, I didn’t get pictures of her this time. Sarah started with us last year, and absolutely loves being homeschooled. She will be a freshman this year as well.

You homeschool a child not of your own? You rock!
p.s. I have almost identical bedding, just no flowery stuff. π
You do? That’s fun! We’ve had that for several years now, and I still love it! The extra student I have is a part of the theater group that my oldest is involved in. She was in public school until last year, and she was so thrilled to leave that to homeschool with us. I wasn’t sure she would want to continue into high school, but she had no desire to go back to the public high school! We really enjoy having her with us. It’s been a total God-thing that it’s worked out as well as it has.
Yep! Ours is about 3 years old and came from JCP.
Enjoy your year!
They are beautiful, Lisa!!! and I agree with Sam – homeschooling a child from another family…makes you a super homeschool Mom!
Sarah has been a fun addition to our school. I wasn’t sure how things would work out, but it really has been a blessing to have her! I think her enthusiasm for being homeschooled has rubbed off on my kids a little too–which is great! π
What sweet pictures of your girls!
We are very blessed to have two very unique and beautiful girls!
Thanks for stopping by!
What beautiful photos of your girls! Isn’t it delightful what unique, precious gifts our children are? Just love this post! π
Thank you!
It is delightful to see them develop their own personalities, interests, and gifts!
Your girls are so pretty! Your bios about them reminded me of my sister and I! I am the younger one π
My sister and I were/are very different in personality and likes as well! I am the oldest in my family. Thanks for stopping by today!
our girls’ personalities sound so much alike… only the opposite age order. π so great to have this documented for them to look back on.
I have noticed how very similar they seem to be!
Love this peek into your girls’ personalities. Keilee is a mix of them both with a lot of the drama loving thrown in. Hope you have a great school year!!
Thank you! You as well!
