There’s been absolutely no school going on around here, but there has been plenty of other fun stuff!
When we moved to Fort Hood, we left behind wonderful friends in Indiana. One of those friends is who inspired me to begin homeschooling 12 years ago! She just graduated her first homeschool student in May, and she’s been such an amazing help to me through the years. She also has a daughter who is the same age as Hannah and we’ve been blessed to have her here with us this week!

- There’s been lots of late nights and sleeping in.
- There’s been movies and popcorn.

- There’s been 4th of July fireworks on post–very cool!

- There’s been shopping.

There has also been other stuff that I didn’t get pictures of, like:
- Rollerskating
- Eating out
- Loud music and singing
- Lots and lots of laughter
It’s been a good week.
Next week, I have got to spend some time planning for the upcoming school year! Truthfully, I haven’t done much of anything yet and I really do need to get to that. But that’s next week.
Right now, we’re headed to Austin for a final fun evening before Maddy heads home.
A week with good friends is a good week indeed. I looks like they had a ball!
They really did! It was so much fun listening to them laugh and sing and talk. Thanks for stopping by today!
